The Woodie Wheaton Land Trust (WWLT) is a group of citizens—just like you!—who share a genuine affection for the Chiputneticook Lakes region. Our members are willing to do anything they can to protect the natural beauty and remaining wildness of the area.
Who Was Woodie Wheaton?
Woodie Wheaton was one of the finest men I ever knew. My friendship with him persisted for nearly 40 years. It was kind of a thing that, even though we might not see each other for a year or two, we could pick right up where we left off.
